This February, in the wake of the Paris Climate Agreement, the Observer Research Foundation convened a workshop to take stock of the new landscape of global climate governance. The Foundation’s recently-released publication, Road from Paris: Ensuring Effective and Equitable Climate Action, compiles essays from the event’s panelists, covering adaptation and resilience; energy transitions and technology innovation; and climate finance. An essay from the Yale Data-Driven Team joins articles from other researchers in exploring the potential impact of cities, states, businesses and investors actors on the evolving climate regime.
As the 22nd Conference of the Parties, the international follow-up to the Paris Climate Agreement, approaches this November, these essays offer critical insights into its stakes and challenges.
