The 2012 Environmental Performance Index and the Pilot Trend Environmental Performance Index (new!) will be released this Thursday, Jan. 26 at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
In addition to an update to the biennial rankings, we’ve included a new Pilot Trend EPI that evaluates a country’s performance over the past decade and develops a ranking based on whether they’ve declined or improved. These results are in some ways more interesting than the “snapshot” rankings provided by the 2012 EPI because some countries have shown some significant progress over the last decade.
Although I cannot give away all of the results yet, the Financial Times ran a preview article of some of the results today.
